The Traditional Pho with Beef (Regular) and Shrimp Purses at Pho Daddy in Calgary, AB was good. The Traditional Pho soup base was packed with umami. The Shrimp Purses were crispy and delicious. The Iced Vietnamese Coffee was okay.

The food is tasty and authentic. The atmosphere is just okay, the tables are crowded and the place is often busy, so it’s not ideal for conversation. I wish they used less plastic and offered more toppings, such as beef balls or tendon. However, the broth quality really stands out: it’s rich, well-cooked, and infused with traditional herbs.

The staff are amazing and work so hard!! The girl with the hijab is so caring and lovely to deal with. I love seeing her when i come!! The pho soup is delicious i come from the southeast to eat pho here. Thank you pho daddy for the best pho in Calgary and best staff.!! I wish i could give you more that 5 stars.

Fantastic experience right from your greeting. They ask if you’ve been there before, if you answer no prepare for the wow factor ! They explain the in house broths and then provide samples of each for you to try. My top 2 was the traditional and coconut satay. Decent portion sizes for the price. Flavours in the coconut satay were bountiful but yet light.

Oh em gee! Yummiest pho ever! Amazing customer service.. the staff introduced different broths to us and we selected the coconut one. It was DELISH! Highly recommended!

Amazing food and service. The brisket with the coconut soup base was absolutely delicious—this is my second time having it, and it never disappoints. I always look forward to coming back and am already excited for my next visit. We also tried the premium soup base with beef, which was equally delicious. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the experience is consistently excellent.

I actually came for the aquarium store downstairs but apon entering the building the smell was so overwhelmingly mouthwatering, I decided to have a bowl. Im pretty sure it’s a family owned place and the food definitely reflects that, broths are all so tasty! The staff that work there are so kind, hard working and friendly. They let me try all of the broths before making a bowl for me to be sure. I also loved the fact that’s it’s kinda like a subway and they put all the fixings in for you. Super fast and efficient, with all the flavour of an authentic pho spot.

Easily the best pho in the city. They have 4 types of broth to choose from and allow you to sample them before purchasing. The portions are great and the staff is amazing. Marycar is literally the highlight of the shop. She’s always so cheerful and welcoming. She knows the shop inside and out and helps accommodate all dietary preferences. The traditional broth is my favourite, peanut satay is my second choice.
